This is the privacy policy for Word Searchable, a game for iPhone and iPad made by RossTech LLC ("RossTech", "we", "us").
What stays on your phone.
Your game is saved on your device and nowhere else: your levels, stars, gems, hints, energy, daily streak and settings. The app also remembers which gem purchases it has already added, so a purchase is never added twice. None of this leaves your device, and RossTech never gets a copy.
If you turn on notifications, the app sets its reminders on your device: one for the daily puzzle, one when your energy is full, and an occasional nudge if you haven't played in a while. Nothing is sent to you from a server, because there isn't one.
The app also keeps a private log of what happens in play, like finishing a level or starting a purchase. It is written to your device's own system log, holds game details only, and is never sent anywhere.
What Apple handles.
Two Apple services are part of the game. RossTech doesn't receive your personal information through either one.
Game Center
Signing in is optional, and you can play without it. If you do sign in, Apple looks after your Game Center identity, and the game sends and reads scores for one leaderboard, Time Challenge, and reports your achievements. RossTech never stores your Game Center identity. That information belongs to Apple and is covered by Apple's Privacy Policy.
Gem purchases
Gems are sold through the App Store, and Apple takes the payment. RossTech never sees your name, your payment details or your Apple Account. The app keeps only a purchase number on your device, so gems already delivered aren't delivered again.
What you can share.
The Share button opens your phone's share sheet with a short message about your own result, such as the level you cleared, your stars and your score. It shares nothing else, and nothing goes anywhere unless you pick where to send it.
What the app doesn't do.
- It doesn't connect to the internet on its own. It has no server, ours or anyone else's.
- No ads, and nothing that measures ads.
- No outside analytics or tracking tools.
- No tracking across other apps or websites, and it never asks to track you.
- No use of your location, contacts, camera, microphone or health data.
- No iCloud syncing, and no account, email address or sign-in from us.
- Nothing is sold or shared, because nothing is collected.
Deleting your data.
Everything the game stores lives on your device, so deleting the app deletes all of it. There's nothing on our side to find or erase, because we never received it. Your Game Center data and App Store purchase history are Apple's records. Apple's own privacy tools cover reviewing or deleting those.
Children.
Word Searchable is a game for a general audience. It collects no personal information from anyone who plays it, and that includes children.
Changes.
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date at the top.
